It has been a battle of the brands. Except in this case the brand was the same each side; or at least mimetically. In recent news Chinese officials in Kunming have ordered the closure of two fake Apple shops. Although the shops were in fact selling genuine, bona fide Apple products, they weren’t carrying the official Apple logo and therefore did not qualify as a genuine store. Cambridge’s Radiology, Neuropharmacology and Anaesthesia Coming to Apple iPad

Cambridge University Press today announced a partnership to produce multiple medical books as interactive apps for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices. Initially, three of Cambridge’s key texts for medical trainees and practitioners will be converted to iOS apps, which cover Radiology, Neuropharmacology and Anaesthesia. Released in the iTunes Store in June 2011 the first app will be a portable version of the radiology text Final FRCR Long Cases, which users can personalize by adding notes, highlights, and bookmarks. Netflix Soon to Stream Star Trek Netflix and CBS have entered into a two-year non-exclusive deal that will further expand Netflix’s content library for its customers. Hulu, for now, will remain sans CBS content. Under the deal, Netflix subscribers will gain access to instant streaming versions of popular shows in the CBS library.
