January 2nd is Science Fiction Day, which should be a exciting day for all us anti-social geeks.  I would gladly stay in and watch the entire STV or Doctor Who (Doctor Seven) while eating freeze dried astronaut meals.  I am a general sci-fi fan who has been loyal to all (television and motion pictures) Star Trek series, Stargate series, Firefly / Serenity, Doctor Who, and many more.
