Dumpster diving (known as skipping in the UK) is the practice of sifting through commercial or residential trash to find items that have been discarded by their owners, but which may be useful to the dumpster diver.
Yesterday on the corner there were three freebies all ready for the taking:
- Propane grille all B52-ed (rusted)
- Chair
- Multi-shade lamp (missing an shade extension)
We pulled the grille into our garage and with two parts and a paint job it should be good as new. The lamp we left but I took the chair after inspection.
