As the new Batgirl continues her nightly mission, the mystery of her secret identity intensifies. Now she has become the target of both Gotham City’s heroes, especially overly jealous Oracle, and its villains. Now that you know who the new Batgirl is and youâ’ve seen her new costume, all the more reason to order it online and follow Stephanie Brownâ’s ongoing adventures.

Story Lines

Not only does Batgirl (aka Stephanie Brown) have to deal with bad guys with drug induced anger she has to to deal with Oracle (aka Barbra Gordon) breathing down her neck.

Oracle who is usually the first to assist and lead any hero into bringing justice to Gotham she almost ignores Batgirl when assistance is required. Batman didn’t solve the mysteries solo nor did he go into battle without Oracle ringing in his ear.  Jealous much?  Oracle has got figure a way around the jealousy and help Batgirl solve the drugging of college students.  It is getting out of hand and dangerous.  The Villian behind it all is one that weakens all Superheros and Batgirl is too much of a bat newbie to handle it on her own.

Lesbians

We do not see Stephanie Brown nor Barbra Gordon as typical young women. Commissioner Gordon is constantly trying to set-up her daughter with suitable men with Barbra derailing the offers with flimsy excuses.  Stephanie is filling her days with school, studying, night with being Batgirl and strongly emotionally affected by other women.  The comic is constantly acknowledging the tension between Stephanie and Barbra.  Could this be just a simple mistaken jealousy for sexual attraction?

Would Oracle who has been quite indifference in aiding Batgirl now be very diligent and overprotective?  That would make sense, and a very welcomed storyline.

Oracle and Batgirl need to kiss and make-up.

Villain

The Villainous brain behind all the young with anger and aggression was revieled on the final page.  I actually gasped!  I can’t wait until Batgirl #3. This is going to be good.
