Twitter Application
Tunein :: Makes Twitter better. The web app builds a channel from all the media (articles, videos, photos and soon, audio) recommended by the people you follow. You can sort it by popularity or recency, and filter it by media type. You can build groups from the people you follow. You can also look at other people’s channels, not just your own. So, you can browse the tweet streams and media channels of other people simply by clicking on them. (follow here . . .)

One Console for All Games
Xbox 360, Ps3, Ps2, Wii, PSP, DS, PC and iPhone/iTouch are all gaming consoles. Hundreds of games come out every year but very few games are cross platform. Which means if you want the latest games you have to buy a new expensive console. The only option is to not play the new game.
Gaming consoles are becoming media centers and less about the games. So why would you invest in another console, just for games. That is like buying another Tivo just record television better while the old Tivo just sits in the corner. It is impractical and who have money to drop $600 on a new Tivo? Granted the new Tivo have access to Netflix via television, but there are cheaper ways of getting the same product (Roku $99). I digress, it is about gaming.
Most gaming developers have lost their way and those who want to reach out cross-console have to hire additional developers for multiple consoles. Hiring more developers mean less profit to go around. Do you really blame developers when they develop for only one single console?
It is time to ditch the multiple console for just one and lets see how creative gaming can be for the gamer. It is a shame that more and more about game path play and less about game play. You play one game, you basically can play them all, it is easy . . . just follow the path and shoot as you go. There has got to be something better, I do not know what “it” is, and creative gamers should be up for the challenge.
Games cost around $60/each. The console cost around $250 (some less, some more). I am not going to buy a console with ever game, which means that profit is not centered around the console. In fact, revenue for all gaming consoles are going down, battle of the console is loosing on all sides. There should be focus on the games.
It is time for creative in the gaming industry. But we will never experience “it” until there is one console for all games.
