Net Neutrality and NHS
The same folks that are happy that US Federal Government got involved with ISP are the same selfish and apathetic when it comes to a National Health Care System. What gives? So the high paying geek wants to make sure government regulates his/her ISP from holding back bandwidth. But, when is comes to government regulation of healthy care that is a big “no way”. So basically government regulation is a good thing, as long as you can see the results at a quicker results or mbps. I can’t share the link nor divulge a screenshot (facebook discussion). Basically an apathetic wealthy geek who would rather “die fat with a milkshake in their hands than then have a national health system” and then a post later “happy that FCC will stop my ISP from controlling my bandwidth”. Are those who could careless about their health actually going to support Net Neutrality? Saying that government should get involved so they can download porn, torrents, play WOW, watch movies online while they sit there getting obese eating fast food and soda is taking real life out of the equation. Since when does virtual reality take precident over reality? Sad day for the US. That is why the US corporate capitalism democracy has failed in the US. It is time for social democracy, where the individual means more than internet download speed.
