Expensive Amazon :: ARE 64MB/6MB STAND ALONE

May 8, 2009

ATM Routing Engine (ARE) processor module works with Bay Networks single-port SONET/SDH Multimode (155 Mbps) fiber, single-port SONET/SDH Single-mode (155 Mbps) fiber, and single-port DS3/E3 interface (45/34 Mbps) high-performance ARE link modules. This configuration meets the needs of virtual network routing (VNR) applications, and provides the highest levels of ATM routing performance and virtual circuit connectivity required for routing traffic between multiple virtual LANs.The ARE processor module features two Motorola PowerPC microprocessors and two LSI ATMizer cell processors. AREs are available with 8, 16, or 32 MB of DRAM for local memory. Additionally, the ARE supports up to 6 MB of virtual buffer memory (VBM), a memory management mechanism for cell/packet buffering that enables the BLN and BCN to handle the processing of up to 2, 000 simultaneously active virtual channels.

Shipping: Currently, item can be shipped only within the U.S. — So pay me, and I will ship it out of the US myself. I expect a nice tip.
